Welcome to the Paul School Library website! Here you will find lots of resources to help you find the right information.

 

Mission Statement:

The Paul School Library functions as an integral part of the total educational program. The purpose of the school library program is to facilitate and expedite the realization and achievement of a quality education by each student.

Library Media Specialist:

Ms. Nicole Anderson is the library media specialist for Paul School. Ms. Anderson received her Master of Library and Information Science from Simmons College in Boston, MA. Prior to joining Paul School in 2007, Ms. Anderson worked at Ossipee Central School as a para and at Rye Public Library as an Adult Services Librarian.


Paul School Library now has their computer catalog online!

From a personal computing device students can request holds,search for books, and renew items. Students need to have their library numbers and their passwords; see Ms. Anderson if you need that information.

Some of the great features on this database are:

  • Novelist and Novelist K-8: students and parents can search for book by subject, reading level, Lexile, interest level and by series.
  • Student Resources: a great way to find magazine and newspaper articles, including full text articles
  • KidsSearch: a dictionary and encyclopedia arranged topically
  • Student Research Center: similar to KidsSearch, but also includes tv and radio transcripts and primary source documents.
